Our Journey

Srujanalaya. From sṛjana — creation — and ālaya — an abode. A place where creation lives. We chose it because that is the whole intent: not to keep a civilisation behind glass, but to give it somewhere to keep being made.

Srujanalaya is a studio built to experiment at the intersection of Indian storytelling, art, and design. The
work moves between cultural research, digital artwork, written essays, video, and live performance —
testing how India’s civilisational ideas can be told to a contemporary audience, beautifully and seriously

Vission

To research, create, and share authentic Indian stories through art, design, writing, film, and performance while collaborating with scholars, artists, and practitioners to preserve, celebrate, and evolve living traditions for future generations.
